BHS Boys Win Conference Meet
Battlefield High School celebrated their Senior Night on Friday, January 25, 2019. The coaching staff was happy to have the opportunity to honor the great group that is leading our team this year. We also were part of a very competitive District meet. It started on Thursday, January 24 when our Boy divers took 1st, 3rd, and 4th place. Tatum Robinson led the divers with a score of 371.44, setting a new school record and missing the State qualifying score by .44 points. Brandon Kite and Jacob Cooke also turned in strong performances and for the first time in school history, Battlefield will be advancing 3 diver to the Regional Championships.
On Friday night, the boys and girls entered the swimming championships. Both teams had great swims with new State and Regional cuts as well as many personal best times. In the end, the ladies finished in third and were just edged out by Osbourn Park. The boys squad had a great meet and ended a six year drought by winning the boys championship. It was a fantastic meet for all our divers and swimmers and the coaches were thrilled with the results.
